Chateau Sur Mer Electrical Update
Chateau-sur-Mer is the first of the grand Bellevue Avenue mansion of the Gilded Age mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. It is now open to the public as a museum.
The house was completed in 1852 by architect Seth Bradford and was home to George Peabody Wetmore who was Governor of Rhode Island and a United States Senator.
The electrical update at Chateau Sur Mer has been in progress for about the last five years. The work encompasses complete rewiring of the structure and fixtures.
